6/11/23 : The Minor League Roundup


International League ( AAA ) - Syracuse 13 (24-38) Lehigh Valley 8 (32-29)

Syracuse, NY - NBT Bank Stadium


Summary :


Jordan Qsar hit a two run home run in the second inning.  Rafael Marchan was hit by a pitch and Scott Kingery doubled, Marchan scored on a ground out by Esteban Quiroz.  Simon Muzziotti singled to score Kingery.


Cristian Pache walked in the third inning, Jordan Qsar singled.  Pache scored on a single by Rafael Marchan.  Vimael Machin doubled to score Qsar.  Esteban Quiroz singled to score two more.


Syracuse scored eight runs in the 4th inning on a walk, four singles, two doubles and a three run home run by Jaylin Davis.


Nick Meyer hit a three run home run for Syracuse in the 6th inning.   DJ Stewart and Carlos Cortes homered in the 8th inning.


On the Hill :


Taylor Lehman threw a scoreless inning, Trey Cobb threw a perfect frame with two strikeouts.  Four others pitched but had struggles.


At the Bat :


Scott Kingery and Vimael Machin each had three hits (two singles & a double).  Simon Muzziotti had three hits (singles), Jordan Qsar had two (single & HR). Esteban Quiroz had two singles and a walk and three RBIs.  Darick Hall tripled and walked.

Summary :


Luke Ritter hit a two run home run for Binghamton in the first inning.


Luke Ritter hit his second home run of the game in the third inning.  A double and single scored another run.


Rowdey Jordan homered for Binghamton in the fifth inning.  Luke Ritter went back to back (his third HR of the game).


Carlos De La Cruz doubled in the fourth inning, he moved to third on a fly ball and scored on a passed ball.  Matt Kroon walked and scored on a triple by Ethan Wilson.


Binghamton scored a run in the 7th on a walk, fielding error and single.


In the bottom of the 7th Nick Podkul singled and McCarthy Tatum doubled.  Cody Roberts singled to score Podkul. Madison Stokes hit a sac fly to score Tatum.


Rowdey Jordan hit his second home run of the game in the 8th inning for Binghamton.


Cody Roberts walked in the 9th inning, Carlos De La Cruz and Johan Rojas singled, Roberts scored.  Oliver Dunn walked and Matt Kroon was hit by a pitch to score a run.


On the Hill :


Josh Hendrickson went four innings, a rough go of it, six runs on nine hits.  Zach Linginfelter pitched a scoreless inning, two walks, one strikeout.  Cristian Hernandez pitched a perfect inning, one strikeout.  Andrew Schultz and Keylan Killgore each pitched an inning. Braden Zarbnisky pitched a perfect inning.


At the Bat :


Ethan Wilson had two hits (single & triple). Nick Podkul and Johan Rojas each had two hits (singles).  Carlos De La Cruz had two hits (single & double).  McCarthy Tatum doubled.

Summary :


Hudson Valley scored a first inning run on a walk, single and RBI double (Rafael Flores).


On the Hill :


Rafael Marcano went four and two third innings, one run, seven hits, two walks and six strikeouts.  Chase Antle went one and one third scoreless, no hits, one walk and one strikeout.  Sam Jacobsak pitched a scoreless frame, one hit.  Malik Binns pitched a scoreless inning, one walk and two strikeouts.  Mitch Neunborn struck out the side in a perfect inning of work.


At the Bat :


Marcus Lee Sang and Jared Carr doubled.

Three singles and a ground out scored two Fort Myers runs in the second inning.  They scored two more in the third inning on a hit batter, double and single.


Two walks and a single scored a Fort Myers run in the sixth inning.


Ryan Leitch doubled in the seventh, went to third on a single by Cole Moore and scored on a sac fly by Cade Fergus.


Jordan Viars doubled to lead off the ninth inning, he scored on a home run by Ryan Leitch.


On the Hill :


Estibenzon Jimenez pitched the first four innings, four runs on five hits and three walks.  Braeden Fausnaught went one and two thirds innings, one run, two hits, three walks.  Danny Wilkinson went two and one third scoreless innings, one hit, four strikeouts, he stranded three inherited runners.


At the Bat :


Jordan Viars hit two doubles. Ryan Leitch doubled, homered, walked and had two RBIs, also scored twice.
