Stealing Bags and Limiting Them - Since the start of June, the Fightin Phils lead the Eastern League with 28 stolen bases, leading second-place Erie by two stolen bags. Entering play on Saturday, Reading is second to Erie in the league with 108 stolen bases and is on pace for 222 this season. This came after the Fightin Phils swiped 173 bags in 2025. The last time Reading stole over 200 bags in a season was 1983, when they stole a franchise record 272 that season.
