The organization has signed Logan Moore to a minor league contract. He has been playing for the High Point Rockers in the independent Atlantic League. Logan was drafted by the Phillies in the 9th round of the 2011 draft from Northeastern Junior College. He played in the organization from 2011 to 2018 and was with AAA Lehigh Valley from 2016 to 2018.
He’s an excellent defensive catcher who’s now 30 years old. After leaving the Phillies organization he played independent league baseball in both the American Association ( Chicago ) and the Atlantic League ( New Britain & High Point ). He’s also played winter league baseball in the Dominican Winter League.
Logan will report directly to the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs and be activated for this week’s games.
