RH Ramon Marquez - 5 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 1 BB, 6 K’s - 52 pitches - 34 strikes - he was outstanding - changeup was a put away pitch - six K’s with it, great deception - Mr. Giombarrese said it was the best he’s seen from a right hander since Sixto Sanchez pitched at Lakeland. He had a three pitch inning in the 4th - three ground ball outs! Fastball sat 94-95 with changeup out of same slot but in 82-83 mph range. Also showed a low nineties cutter/slider.
