The Iron Pigs went 2-4 for the week against Syracuse (Mets affiliate).

Bryan De La Cruz - 6 for 15 (.400) with a double & HR, 6 walks - .571 OBP in 21 PA’s
Christian Cairo - 7 for 18 (.389) with a double, 4 walks - .500 OBP in 22 PA’s

RH Andrew Painter - 4 IP, 1 R, 2 H, 3 BB, 4 K’s - 80 pitches - 44 strikes - my notes - I think the ump pinched him a little in his Sunday outing - some of the ball calls looked like strikes to me. They were really close. He did at times get underneath his pitches with his release which caused pitches to sail but I also saw a lot of positive stuff today - mix and staying on top of the fastball quite a bit, velocity was fine and ball had life. The kid will return to form. He threw 43 four seamers (54 %) - 27 for strikes (50 %) - that compares to throwing 33% four seamers when he was in the big leagues. Andy had ten swing and miss pitches - 6 were on four seamers.
Eastern League (AA) : Reading (4-2, 33-41)
The Fightin Phils went 4-2 for the week against Altoona (Pirates affiliate).
