Triple A East League - Lehigh Valley 5 ( 15-13 ) Scranton Wilkes Barre 4 ( 18-8 )


Summary :


4th Inning : Thomas Milone hit a solo HR for SWB


6th Inning : RF Mickey Moniak hit an opposite field three run home run scoring 2B Sal Gozzo & CF Adam Haseley ( single) in front of him.


7th Inning : SWB scored a run on two doubles.


8th Inning : Mickey Moniak hit his second home run of the game … this one a two run shot over the right field fence against former teammate Addison Russ.


9th Inning : Andrew Velazquez hit a two out two run home run for SWB after a fielding error by SS Ruben Tejada.


On The Hill :


LH Bailey Falter - 5 IP, 1 R, 5 H, 1 BB, 6 K’s - 88 pitches - 60 strikes - another good outing

RH Mauricio Llovera - 2 IP, 1 R, 2 H, 0 BB, 1 K - 31 pitches - 20 strikes

RH Enyel De Los Santos - 1 perfect inning - two groundouts and a fly out

RH Neftali Feliz - 1 IP, 2 R - neither earned, 1 H, 2 K’s


At Bat :


Mickey Moniak had three hits including two HR’s with 5 RBIs.


Double A NorthEast League - Reading 8 ( 5-22 ) Somerset 3 ( 18-8 )


Summary :


1st Inning : Michael Beltre hit a solo home run for Somerset


4th Inning : 1B Luke Miller hit a three run home run.


Somerset scored twice in the bottom of the inning on a double, triple and single.


5th Inning : CF Arquimedes Gamboa doubled to score C Nick Matera ( doubled ) and RF Josh Stephen ( walked ).


8th Inning : Luke Miller doubled to score Gamboa ( walked )


9th Inning : Luke Miller delivered again .. this time with a two run single giving him six RBIs in the game 👍

3rd Inning : Brett Baty hit a solo home run for Brooklyn. C Logan O’Hoppe singled, stole second and scored on a single by 2B Cole Stobbe.


7th Inning : Brett Baty hit a three run home run for Brooklyn , his 2nd HR of the game.


9th Inning : Ronny Mauricio hit a two run dinger for Brooklyn


1B Vito Friscia doubled to score C Logan O’Hoppe ( doubled ).

1st Inning : Brooklyn scored three runs - the key blow a two run single by Brett Baty. All of the runs were unearned due to a fielding error.


2nd Inning : CF Jhailyn Ortiz hit a solo home run.


4th Inning : DH Logan O’Hoppe hit a solo home run. C Herbert Iser also hit a solo home run.


5th Inning : Mets top prospect Francisco Alvarez hit a solo home run.

CF Hunter Markwardt hit a solo home run in the bottom half of the inning, his first professional dinger 👍👏.


6th Inning : Herbert Iser singled, went to second on a wild pitch. Cole Stobbe reached on catcher’s interference. Jose Tortolero also reached on catcher’s interference. Iser then scored on groundout.


On the Hill :

Summary :


1st Inning : SS Luis Garcia (walk ), CF Johan Rojas ( single ) and DH Abrahan Gutierrez ( walk ) loaded the bases. 1B Rixon Wingrove doubled to score two runs.


2nd Inning : LF Baron Radcliff walked, went to second on a single by RF Ben Pelletier and scored on a single by 2B Nicolas Torres. Pelletier scored on a fielding error. Torres scored on a ground out.


Daytona scored a single run in the bottom of the inning.


3rd Inning : C Juan Aparicio singled, went to third on a single by 3B Kendall Simmonsand scored on a wild pitch. Nicolas Torres & Luis Garcia walked. Simmons & Torres scored on a fielding error by the right fielder. Abrahan Gutierrez singled to plate two more.


4th Inning : Daytona scored a run.


8th Inning : Daytona scored twice on three singles

Other Stuff :


Two former Phillies who were released at the end of minor league camp have signed with a new MLB organization. Congrats to LHP Cam Beauchamp who signed with the White Sox and C Cesar Rodriquez who has signed with the Braves.


Also former LHV pitching coach Steve Schrenk has signed on with the Mets as their pitching coach at AAA level Syracuse.
