International League ( AAA ) - Charlotte 8 (28-31) Lehigh Valley 3 (42-17)

Charlotte, NC -Truist Field


Scoring Summary :


Brooks Baldwin homered for Charlotte in the first inning.  Andre Lipcius hit a two run home run for them in the second inning.


Cal Stevenson and Rodolfo Castro singled in the third inning, Erick Brito singled to score a run. Otto Kemp hit a sacrifice fly to score a run. Garrett Stubbs doubled to score a run.


Three walks and a single scored a run for Charlotte in the bottom of the third inning - left fielder Cal Stevenson threw a runner out at the plate to end the inning.


Two singles and a sacrifice fly scored a run for Charlotte in the fifth inning. A walk and two singles scored a run for them in the sixth - right fielder Oscar Mercado threw out a runner at third base to end the inning.


Two doubles and a singled scored two runs for Charlotte in the seventh.

Two hit batters, a catcher’s interference, single and sacrifice fly scored two runs for Harrisburg in the first inning.


Felix Reyes reached on an error in the second inning, Seth Beer walked. Paul McIntosh hit a three run home run.


Keaton Anthony homered in the sixth inning scoring Robert Moore (singled) in front of him.


A single, walk, hit batter and ground out scored a run for Harrisburg in the sixth inning.


Keaton Anthony singled in the eighth, Alex Binelas doubled. Seth Beer hit a sacrifice fly to score Anthony.


Two walks, a single and throwing error (pitcher John McMillon) scored two runs for Harrisburg in the eighth inning.


In a repeat of last night former Phillie Carlos De La Cruz hit a walk off two run home run in the bottom of the ninth for the Harrisburg win.

Terrific Tommy :  Since returning from Jersey Shore (A+) on May 1, Tommy McCollum has been excellent out of the bullpen. After two-perfect innings on Tuesday night, McCollum now has a 0.68 ERA (1 ER, 13.1 IP) over eight appearances. He has also struck out 10 and now issued a single walk yet. McCollum has not allowed a run over his last six outings (11.1 IP) and has allowed a run in just one of his eight appearances so far.
