The Phillies selected Jared Carr , a 22 year old outfielder from Shepherd University in the 13th round of the draft today.

2021 : Appeared and started in all 37 games ... gained first team All-PSAC East honors as he batted .375 with 48 hits in 128 at-bats ... scored 38 runs and drove in a team-best 41 ... added 12 doubles and a team-best 11 home runs ... drew 14 walks and was hit-by-pitch five times ... his three sacrifice flies tied Dalton Stewart and Cole Daugherty for the team lead ... led the team in stolen bases with 25 in 30 attempts ... posted a 1.000 fielding percentage in 61 chances ... named PSAC East Athlete of the Week for April 19 ... gained first team D2CCA and NCBWA All-Region honors ... an honorable mention NCBWA All-American.
