Following the draft today 22 year old RHP Alex McKenney signed as an amateur free agent with the Phillies. He pitched for the University of Maine in Orono and is from Hampden, Maine … he’s 6’3” 240 lbs.
He pitched in 15 games for Maine, 10 as a starter and posted 45 K’s and 32 BB in 63 IP.
