Did Ya Know?

“Weston Wilson achieved the first 20-20 season in franchise history for the IronPigs when he swiped his 20th base of the season on June 8. What's crazy about this feat for Wilson is that through the first month of the season (26G), he had just five homers and three stolen bases. Since (55G), he's slashed .292/.403/.578 (.980 OPS) with 15 homers and 17 stolen bases. The 20 homers and 20 stolen bases to this point of the season are both career highs for Wilson. He's within striking distance as well of setting career highs in RBI, BB, and runs.” - from Media notes supplied by Sam Jellinek - Iron Pigs Manager of Broadcasting and Media Relations
