Summary : Game One : Phillies 10 Blue Jays 3
The Blue Jays loaded the bases in both the first and second innings but Sam Jacobsak was able to hold them at bay without allowing a run.
Jamari Baylor smoked a long home run over the left field fence to lead off the second inning.
Mitchell Edwards doubled to score Hunter Markwardt ( singled ) in the third inning. Edwards later scored on a wild pitch.
The Blue Jays scored a run in the fourth inning.
The Phillies scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth highlighted by Junior Ortega’s first stateside hit, an RBI single. He was promoted from the DSL on 7/12.
Felix Reyes hit a grand slam home run in the fifth inning.
The Jays scored twice in the seventh.

Hunter Markwardt had two hits, a stolen base and scored a run. Carlos De La Cruz hit the ball hard twice resulting in two singles, much more aggressive today in his AB’s. Mitchell Edwards had two hits including a double. Jamari Baylor & Felix Reyes each homered. Freddy Francisco doubled.

The Phillies scored five runs in the first inning with key blows coming from Kervin Pichardo ( double ), Juan Herrera ( two run single ) and Alexeis Azuaje ( two run double ).
The Blue Jays scored three times in the third inning on four hits. They added another run in the fifth inning.
Ben Pelletier doubled to lead off the fifth inning, he scored on a single by Juan Herrera.

Summary :
The Cubs scored in 6 of their 8 innings putting up 5 runs in the ninth to seal the weather halted victory.
Adony Mejia had two hits ( both doubles ) and 3 RBIs for the Phillies. Seventeen year old Yemal Flores hit a three run home run.
Yankees1 5 ( 2-1 ) Phillies Red 4 ( 0-3 ) - Seven Innings
The Yankees scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to post the come from behind win.
Javier Vina had two of the Phillies seven hits. Santiago Torres doubled.
