7/16/25 : Phillies agree to terms with NDFA OF Jonathan Hogart

The Phillies have reached agreements with 23 year old right handed hitting outfielder Jonathan Hogart. The deal is pending completion of a physical after which he will sign a contract.
Hogart played for Murray State in 2025 and posted a .338/.446/.700 slash line with a 1.146 OPS in 61 games (312 PA’s). He hit 23 doubles, 22 home runs and drove in 65 runs. In three collegiate seasons at Louisiana Tech (2023) and Murray State (2024-2025) he produced a .313/.423/.607 slash line with a 1.030 OPS with 38 home runs and 123 RBIs.
He’s from Owensburg, Kentucky and had an outstanding NCAA World Series tournament where he hit multiple home runs. Hogart had an NCAA best eight lead off home runs during the 2025 season (Southern Indiana (March 16), Bradley (April 6), Kentucky State (April 9), Valparaiso (April 18), Missouri State (May 15), Ole Miss (May 30), Duke (June 8 & 9).
