Paul McIntosh, Christian Cairo and Keaton Anthony each doubled.  Tommy Pham walked twice.


On The Hill : 1 R, 5 H, 0 BB, 5 K’s


RH Chuck King - 8 IP, 1 R, 5 H, 0 BB, 5 K’s - 83 pitches - 62 strikes -he’s now 7-4 on the season - this was his best and longest outing - in his last 8 starts (42.2 IP) he has a 3.37 ERA - that includes a blowup outing on 7/2 (seven runs in 4 IP) - take that one out and in the other seven games (38.2 IP) he’s posted a 2.09 ERA 👀⚾️ - home grown talent - features a mid nineties four seam fastball that touches higher and a sinker (93-95 mph) - secondaries include a slider, change up, curve and cutter.

D-MO-TOWN: Dylan Moore has been a catalyst at the top of the order for the 'Pigs, collecting a hit in 24 of his last 28 games. Hettiger Is Heating Up - Kehden Hettiger is getting into a groove in the month of July, as the Phillies’ 26th-ranked prospect is slashing .278/.400/.444 in the month of July. The Los Angeles, California native has a hit in seven of 11 games played this month, including a pair of multi-hit performances. On July 10th, the Fightins backstop logged a 3-for-4 performance with a double, notching four total bases in one of his better games this season. Brandon Lewis, Devin Saltiban, Carter Mathison and Trent Farquhar each walked twice - Mathison stole two bases giving him 23 for the season. Luis Caicuto doubled and walked posting three RBIs. Trent Farquhar delivered the game winning walk off single in the 12th inning.

Walk It Off…Nick Biddison’s walk off home run was the second of the season for Jersey Shore (Tyler Pettorini on Father’s Day against Greenville) and the fourth by the BlueClaws as a High-A affiliate (since 2021), also including Kehden Hettiger on 5/6/25 vs Aberdeen and Felix Reyes on 9/3/23 also against Aberdeen…The BlueClaws have five walk-off wins this season after having three last year. - Greg Giombarrese - Vice President - Communications - Jersey Shore BlueClaws

THIRD INNING IS A CHARM: The Clearwater Threshers plated five runs in the third inning to break a 1-1 tie en route to an 11-1 victory over the Daytona Tortugas on Wednesday. Alirio Ferrebus belted a three-run home run, finishing 4-5 at the dish with a double and four RBIs. Jonathan Hogart hit a three-run home run in the third, and Robert Phelpswent 2-5 with two runs scored. Team Notes : Catcher Anderson Araujo had a solid first stateside season posting a .280 batting average and .401 OBP in 142 plate appearances in 34 games with 5 doubles, 2 triples, 11 RBIs, 23 walks and 10 stolen bases. Twenty year old 1B/OF Jaeden Calderon posted a .275/.439/.465 slash line and .902 OPS in 27 FCL games (107 PA’s) with 6 doubles, 3 triples, a home run and 14 RBIs. He opened the season with the Threshers. OF/1B Jack Barker (21 yrs old) hit 12 doubles, 2 triples, 5 home runs and 32 RBIs with 15 stolen bases in 58 games (241 plate appearances), he also had opened the season with the Threshers.


League Notes : the Blue Jays, Astros, Rays and Orioles qualified for the playoffs - the Blue Jays are defending league champions.

Lehigh Valley - RHP Alan Rangel (optioned on 7/20) added to the roster. RHP Jackson Rutledge has been released.
