7/25/25 : Clearwater Complex PDC (Player Development Center) activities

The 2025 FCL regular season has concluded however training and rehab work continues at Carpenter Complex in Clearwater. There’s a “Draft Camp” for newly signed draft picks and non-drafted free agent signings along with continued training for seventeen FCL roster holdovers who will remain in post season training camp mode with potential roster assignments for some to full-season teams to finish the year potentially in sight. Note that the draftees and non-drafted free agents signed don’t count towards the minor league roster limit till assigned to a team or for 15 days after signing their contracts - for most that’s gonna be early August or thereabouts. Sixteenth round pick SS Logan Dawson signed a contract on Friday and will now report to the complex for Draft Camp. 20th round pick Landon Schaefer will be the only un-signed draftee amongst the twenty selections made.
