Third Baseman Carter Kieboom reached base in all four plate appearances ( 2 walks and 2 hits ) and scored twice for Washington. Second Baseman Starlin Castro was four for five with a double and Center Fielder Michael Taylor hit a two run home run.
Shortstop Bo Bichette doubled twice for Toronto while Left Fielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr and Center Fielder Teoscar Hernandez ( including HR ) each had three hits.
Yankees 8 ( 4-1 ) Orioles 6 ( 2-3 )
Right Fielder Arron Judge hit a massive three run home run in the top of the ninth inning for the Yankees to cap a come from behind win and produce New York’s 18th straight win against the Orioles at Camden Yards.
First Baseman Luke Voit hit a grand slam homer in a five run Yankees first inning for an early lead but the Orioles battled back to score six runs and take a one run advantage into the ninth frame.
Baltimore hit three two run homers ( Hanser Alberto, Rio Ruiz and Pedro Severino ).
Indians 2 ( 5-2 ) Twins 0 ( 4-2 )
Indians starter RH Shane Bieber continued Cleveland’s run of top notch pitching by going eight shutout frames of three hit baseball with no walks and striking out thirteen batters !
Bieber tied a major league record by recording 27 K’s in his first two starts which matched what Karl Spooner did way back in 1954.
Shortstop Francisco Lindor hit a two run home run in the third inning to plate the only runs of the game.
Relievers Zack Littell ( RH ) and Lewis Thorpe ( LH ) each tossed two shutout innings for the Twins.
Red Sox 4 ( 3-4 ) Mets 2 ( 3-4 )
Catcher Christian Vasquez hit two home runs and drove in three runs to lead the Red Sox offense.
LH Martin Perez went 5 2/3 innings for Boston to post the win.
Jeff McNeil had two hits and two RBIs for the Mets.
Braves 2 ( 4-3 ) Rays 1 ( 4-3 )
Atlanta starter LH Max Fried went 6 2/3 innings allowing one run on three hits and a walk while striking out seven batters. Three Braves relievers pitched scoreless baseball the rest of the way with closer Mark Melancon recorded his second save of the season.
LH Ryan Yarbrough pitched well in defeat for the Rays ( 6 1/3 IP, 2 R, 2 H, 3 BB, 6 K’s ).
Royals 5 ( 3-4 ) Tigers 3 ( 4-3 )
Kansas City scored three runs in the seventh and eighth innings to break ahead enroute to their third win of the season. Three Royals ( Jorge Soler - 2 doubles, Alex Gordon and Adalberto Mondesi ) each had three hits.
DH Miguel Cabrera hit two home runs and scored twice for Detroit.
Dodgers 6 ( 5-2 ) Diamondbacks 3 ( 2-5 )
AJ Pollock and Max Muncy each had two hits including home runs to lead the LA offense. RH starter Ross Stripling went 5 1/3 innings to record his second win of the season.
Ketel Marte homered and had two knocks for Arizona.
Mariners 8 ( 3-4 ) Angels 5 ( 2-5 )
Seattle starter LH Marco Gonzalez went 6 1/3 innings allowing no earned runs on three hits and a walk while striking out six batters. Shortstop JP Crawford had a big night at the plate out of the leadoff spot with two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored.
First Baseman Jose Marmolejos hit a three run tater for the Mariners in the first inning.
DH Shohei Ohtani hit a three run home run for the Angels in the ninth inning. Catcher Max Stassi hit a two run homer in the fifth inning.
Padres 12 ( 5-2 ) Giants 7 ( 3-4 ) - 10 Innings
The Padres scored six runs in the top of the tenth inning as they rattled off five hits for the win.
Left Fielder Tommy Pham had three knocks, scored twice and had two RBIs ... Second Baseman Jurickson Profar had two hits including a two run home runs, three RBIs and scored twice. San Diego had fourteen hits in the game and used six pitchers.
The Giants also used six pitchers ... Second Baseman Donovan Solano had four hits including three doubles and had two RBIs for San Francisco.
