A shift in the work schedule this past week as games were played Wednesday thru Monday for the full season affiliates. For the Complex league teams I am posting the week as per the usual Monday thru Sunday schedule. The seven teams went 23-17 for the play week with the DSL Phillies White Team going a perfect 5-0.
Dakota Kotowski and Yhoswar Garcia had strong weeks offensively for the FCL Phillies. Nolan Beltran stood out with the bat for Phillies Red and Phillies pitchers had a good week in the DSL contributing to three (Luis Alcala, Javier Fuenmayor & Ezequiel Ventura) being promoted to the FCL Phillies after Saturday’s games.
Scott Kingery had a standout week for Lehigh Valley hitting .421 with a .476 OBP while Weston Wilson hit three home runs and Jake Cave posted four dingers. TJ Zeuch had a seven inning outing on Thursday and Andrew Bellatti continued to post zeros in two outings. Darick Hall earned a big league promotion on Sunday. Reading had a rough week going 1-5 against Richmond.
Jersey Shore went 3-3 and Nick Ward posted a .476 OBP in twenty plate appearances. The bullpen continued to pitch well with multiple contributors, starters Matt Osterberg and Zach Haake had strong outings. Clearwater continued to roll going 4-2, Emaarion Boyd stood out hitting .467 for the week, Cade Fergus hit a grand slam and Felix Reyes delivered eight RBIs. Sam Aldegheri and Jean Cabrera had five inning outings as starters allowing no earned runs and Dominic Pipkin and Noah Song each made two rehab appearances.

Thursday : Jake Cave, Dustin Peterson, Jim Haley, Scott Kingery and Simon Muzziotti each had two hits. Muzziotti, Kingery, John Hicks each doubled. Jake Cave, Drew Ellis, Scott Kingery and Weston Wilson each homered.
Friday : Simon Muzziotti had three hits and an RBI. Scott Kingery had two hits. Jake Cave homered, Weston Wilson tripled. Darick Hall singled, walked and had a sac fly RBI.
Saturday : Scott Kingery homered. Jake Cave singled and doubled. John Hicks had two hits, a single and a walk-off two run home run.
Monday Game One : Weston Wilson, Esteban Quiroz, Scott Kingery and Jim Haley each had two hits. Kingery and Drew Ellis doubled. Quiroz, Wilson, Jake Cave and Dustin Peterson homered.

Tommy McCollum, Wesley Moore and Orion Kerkering each threw a scoreless inning behind him, McCollum struck out two batters in a perfect frame.
Thursday : Six pitchers were used. Carlos Betancourt went three and one third. Tristan Garnett, Rodolfo Sanchez, Matt Russell and Jordi Martinez each pitched a scoreless inning.
Friday : Starter Gunner Mayer went one and two thirds, five relievers followed. Jack Dallas went two and one third scoreless including stranding three inherited runners. Jason Ruffcorn, Mitch Neunborn and Tommy McCollum each pitched a scoreless frame.
Saturday : Zach Haake started and went five scoreless innings, four hits, one walk and six strikeouts. Cam Wynne pitched a perfect frame, two strikeouts. Malik Binns, Wesley Moore and Jordi Martinez each threw an inning to complete the shutout.
Sunday : Rafael Marcano started and went four and one third innings - three runs. Five pitchers followed, Tristan Garnett and Rodolfo Sanchez threw scoreless innings.
Monday : Six pitchers were used, Wesley Moore, Tommy McCollum and Orion Kerkering each threw a scoreless frame.

Noah Song pitched an inning, one run, one hit, two walks and a strikeout, he was 90 to 92 mph with the heater, also threw a curve, slider and change up. Dominic Pipkin threw a perfect frame with two strikeouts, he topped out at 98 mph on his fastball. Seth Nightingale threw a perfect inning.
Sunday : Jonathan Petit started and went five innings, four runs. McKinley Moore pitched a scoreless inning in relief, Wen Hui Pan pitched two scoreless to notch his fourth save of the season.
Monday : Four pitchers were used, Danny Wilkinson struck out five batters in two innings, one run allowed.

Tuesday : Five pitchers were used in the contest, Nicoly Pina went one and two thirds scoreless in relief, two walks, three strikeouts. Eric Garcia stranded two inherited runners and pitched one and one third innings.
Thursday : Five pitchers were used, Saul Teran threw three innings, one unearned run.
Friday Game One : Five pitchers were used, Chase Webster pitched two and one third scoreless innings.
Friday Game Two : Giuseppe Velasquez pitched four innings, one run, two hits, one walk and seven strikeouts. Nathan Karaffa went three innings, no runs, one hit, one walk, one strikeout.
Saturday : Micah Ottenbreit returned to action, the twenty year old right hander pitched two scoreless innings, no hits, one walk, he got four ground outs (one a double play) and one fly out, faced just six batters. I’ve watched him progress in his bullpens, the young man has very good stuff, it’s been a long road back from TJ surgery from April of 2022. Great to see him back competing! Daniel Mejia pitched four innings, one unearned run, one hit, two walks, three strikeouts.
