The seven teams went 20-14 for the week.
Lehigh Valley scuffled against Scranton Wilkes-Barre getting blown out in two games yet still found a way to win two of the five games played. Bailey Falter and Nick Nelson made a couple good starts and Rafael Marchan, Kody Clemens and Scott Kingery hit the ball well.
Reading’s bullpen had a great week. They allowed just four-earned runs over twenty six and two third innings, which is good for a 1.35 ERA. - note provided by Jake Starr - Fightins Media Relations and Press Box Manager. Ethan Wilson (10 for 23 -.435) had a strong week as did Carlos De La Cruz (8 for 23 (.348) with four doubles, HR and four RBIs) and Johan Rojas (four doubles, a triple, five RBIs and three stolen bases).
Hudson Valley had Jersey Shore’s number during the week however Gabriel Rincones Jr (9 for 20 (.450) with a double, three home runs, four RBIs, five walks, .560 OBP) had a strong offensive output. Rafael Marcano made a quality start (five innings, one unearned run, five hits, one walk and four strikeouts) and multiple members of the bullpen pitched well.
Clearwater kept on rolling going 5-1 for the week including four walk-off victories, it’s been a special season for the group that truly plays as a team, this week outfielder Ricardo Rosario excelled going 9 for 22 (.409) with two home runs, six RBIs, two walks and a .458 OBP. First baseman Cole Moore also had a big week (6 for 14 (.429) with three doubles, two home runs, three RBIs, .467 OBP). In Dominican Summer League play pitchers Maxwell Hernandez and Cristian Diaz combined to throw a seven inning no hitter in team Phillies White win on Friday. Both Phillies teams (White and Red) exploded for sixteen runs apiece in their games on Saturday. Each club went 3-1 as multiple hitters had standout weeks. In FCL play Dakota Kotowski hit three home runs and posted six RBIs, Raylin Heredia continued to shine going 7 for 16 (.438) with three triples, five runs scored, five RBIs and four walks, a .571 OBP and recording a 1.384 OPS. Gustavo Sosa had a big game on Saturday with three hits including a home run.
Mick Abel (Reading) and Justin Crawford (Clearwater) played in the Futures game in Seattle. Mick started for the National League and pitched a scoreless inning, one hit, two strikeouts. Justin had a sacrifice fly and RBI in three plate appearances

Saturday : Four pitchers limited the Yankees to just one hit, sixteen year old Angel Liranzo started and pitched three innings, no hits, two walks, two strikeouts. John Sosa ( another lefty) pitched two scoreless/hitless allowing two walks while posting three strikeouts. Jendry Charles gave up the only hit and run of the game in one inning of work and Carlos Milan finished with a scoreless frame, no hits, one walk and two strikeouts.
