RHP Seth Johnson - 25 years old - acquired from the Orioles in the Gregory Soto trade on 7/30/24 - made two starts for Reading - 3.52 ERA in 7.2 IP - 9 K’s, 1 BB - overall at the AA level - 2.72 ERA in 20 starts (72.2 IP) with 70 K’s and 36 walks - .223 BAA
Jersey Shore to Reading :
LHP Braeden Fausnaught - 25 years old - signed as an un-drafted free agent 8/1/22 from West Chester University - was a very solid 8-3 with a 3.65 ERA in 19 appearances (18 starts) for Jersey Shore with 90 K’s and 32 walks in 98.2 IP
RHP Moises Chace - 21 years old - acquired from the Orioles in the Gregory Soto trade on 7/30/24 - made two starts for Jersey Shore - 8.2 IP with 13 K’s and 3 walks - overall at the High A level - 3.56 ERA in 19 appearances (11 starts) pitched 60.2 innings with 89 K’s and 33 walks - a .200 BAA. Strong candidate for Arizona Fall League.
INF Zach Arnold - 23 years old - 2023 14th round draft choice - University of Houston - has posted a .256/.335/.325 slash line in 282 plate appearances for JS with 5 doubles, 3 triples, 2 home runs and 36 RBIs. Coming off a strong month of July when he hit .361 in 61 AB’s and has hit .333 from 7/1 to 8/10 (30 for 90).
Clearwater to Jersey Shore :
RHP Ethan Chenault - 23 years old - 2023 18th round draft choice - UNC Wilmington - appeared in 25 games for Clearwater - all in relief - 36.2 IP - 4.91 ERA - 53 K’s, 26 BB - .210 BAA - 4 saves in 5 opportunities. Posted a very solid month of July - 2.70 ERA in 10 IP with 15 K’s and 3 walks - has multi inning capabilities.
INF Diego Gonzalez - 21 years old - signed 7/2/19 as an international free agent from Barquisimeto, Venezuela. Posted a .265/.362/.394 slash line in 152 plate appearances with Clearwater - 6 doubles, 1 triple, 3 home runs and 21 RBIs - solid defender at 2B,SS and 3B. Smart heady player.
RHP Alex Garbrick - 26 years old - 2021 17th round draft choice - South Carolina Upstate - is returning from the IL and rehab assignment with Clearwater to regular roster status - in 8 rehab appearances (10 IP) with the FCL and Clearwater posted a 3.60 ERA with 13 K’s and 8 walks - a .147 BAA.

OF Dante Nori - 19 years old - 2024 1st round draft choice - Northville HS, Northville, MI - will be making his official professional debut after playing in three “Bridge League” exhibition games.
OF Griffin Burkholder - 18 years old - 2024 2nd round draft choice - Freedom South Riding HS, VA - will be making his official professional debut after playing in three “Bridge League” exhibition games.
