8/16/2020 : Phillies sign LHP Corey Phelan

The club has added another young pitcher to their minor league group. A few days ago Corey Phelan an eighteen year old from Harborfields High School in Greenlawn, NY signed an amateur free agent contract. Phelan had been committed to attend Flagler College but instead signed with the Phillies.

He features a FB in the mid to upper 80’s which projects higher as he grows into his body more.
