8/24/25 : Days at the Carpenter Complex (Clearwater)

My last few days of coverage at the Complex for this trip before heading back home to PA. Kudos to the players and coaches for continuing their work thru the very hot days of August. I was sweating like crazy just watching but these fellas are in terrific shape and the heat didn’t seem to phase them at all.
Batting Practice : Roberts Field
8/21 After concluding fielding practice drills Bennett Markinson, Angel Mata, Cesar Mujica, Yhoan Escolona, Logan Dawson, Jaeden Calderon, Jose Familia, Francisco Loreto, Jack Barker and Victor Cardoza participated in batting practice off of pitching machines - Ray Ricker (Assistant Florida Complex Coordinator) ran the BP practice.
8/22 & 8/23 : Rain presumably moved practices indoors.
Pitchers :
8/21 : Pitcher’s fielding practice (PFP’s) continued for the pitchers in camp today on Carlton Field. Yesterday Cody Bowker, James Tallon, Brian Walters, Richie Cortese and Matt Potok threw their first side bullpen sessions.
8/22 : Side bullpens for Keegan Batka, Eligio Arias, Joel Heredia, Raymon Rosario, Gage Wood, Gabe Craig, Cole Gilley, Tyler Bowen, Peyton Havard and Aaron Combs. Live BP for Alexander De Los Santos and Marcus Morgan.
8/23 : Side bullpens for Cody Bowker, James Tallon, Brian Walters, Richie Cortese, Matt Potok and Tegan Cain. Live BP for Luis Gonzalez and Wilmer Blanco.
