Bennett Makes History - Pierce Bennett was intentionally walked with the bases loaded on Wednesday night after a series of events that included a mid-at bat pitching change rejected by the umpires following a second mound visit during his at bat. Bennett is the first MiLB player to be intentionally walked with the bases loaded since at least 2005. Since 1969, the following MLB players have been intentionally walked with the bases loaded: Barry Bonds (with SF vs AZ in 1998), Josh Hamilton (with TEX vs TAM in 2008), and Corey Seager (with TEX vs LAA in 2022). Mexican League player Abel Martinez was also intentionally walked with the bases loaded in 2005 for Laguna vs Tiajuana. - Media Notes
