Did Ya Know 🧐 :

SHARED TRAUMA: Wednesday night's doubleheader will be long remembered by all who witnessed it as a traumatic, ludicrous, and downright silly night of baseball. Game One saw 'Pigs manager AC get the franchise record 287th win, a bunt from Justin Crawford that started out foul and spun back fair, Aaron Nola's second rehab start (at the same time that his brother, Austin, appeared on the mound for Colorado), and a near benches-clearing incident following a HBP. Game Two had both AC

and Tank Adamson ejected by the same umpire, Felix Neon, positoon players (Lantigua & Munguia) finish out the game on the mound, Scranton turning a 7-4-3 DP with a five-man infield to escape a bases loaded jam in the eighth, an eight-run ninth for SWB with Munguia starting the inning as a pinch-runner and capping it by hitting a grand slam, before pitching the very next half-inning. Across the two games, there were a total of 35 runs, 32 hits, three errors, 23 walks, 32 strikeouts, and

571 pitches in 5:36 hours worth of baseball. - Sam Jellinek - Manager, Broadcasting & Media Relations - Lehigh Valley IronPigs
