JT Realmuto led off the bottom of the fourth inning with a loud home run to left field for the game’s first run. Didi Gregorius singled, stole second and went to third on an error. Jake Arrieta was outstanding ... perhaps his best outing in a Phillies uniform ... he went six scoreless innings - 3 hits, 1 walk and 6 K’s ... great ball movement and command - 89 pitches - 56 strikes ... if he can continue to perform like he did in this one then we got something special.

Jose Alvarez got the first two outs of the seventh inning and then gave up a single to Nick Markakis .... skipper Joe went to Tommy Hunter ... he got the final out of the inning on one pitch - a 5-3 ground out.

Hunter pitched a perfect eighth inning - four batters - four outs in his outing - 13 pitches - 9 strikes - made it look easy.

Didi Gregorius singled to score Bryce Harper ( doubled ) in the eighth inning.

Deolis Guerra pitched a perfect ninth inning striking out two batters to complete the shutout.

Record is now 4-4
