International League ( AAA ) -  Lehigh Valley 14 (34-22, 70-59) Syracuse 6 (19-35, 52-76)

Allentown, PA - Coca-Cola Park


Summary :


Daniel Palka homered for Syracuse in the first inning.


Cal Stevenson doubled in the third inning, he scored on a double by Kody Clemens.  Weston Wilson tripled to score Clemens, Dustin Peterson hit a sac fly to score Wilson.


Drew Ellis doubled in the fourth inning, Esteban Quiroz singled and Scott Kingery walked.  Cal Stevenson singled to score a run, Kody Clemens hit a grand slam!


Wyatt Young hit a two run home run for Syracuse in the seventh inning, Jaylen Palmer hit a three run home run.


Dustin Peterson doubled in the bottom of the seventh, he scored on a single by Rafael Marchan.


Esteban Quiroz homered in the 8th inning against former Phillie Sam Coonrad.   Scott Kingery tripled and scored on a double by Kody Clemens.  Weston Wilson walked, Darick Hall hit a three run home run.


On the Hill :


Michael Plassmeyer pitched five innings, one run, two hits, one walk, seven strikeouts.  Braden Zarbnisky pitched one and one third innings, five runs, five hits, no walks, two strikeouts.  Tyler McKay pitched two thirds of an inning, no runs, one hit, two strikeouts.  Connor Brogdon pitched a scoreless inning, one hit, one walk, one strikeout.  Luis Ortiz finished, one inning, no runs, one hit, one strikeout.


At the Bat :


Kody Clemens had three hits (two doubles and grand slam HR, six RBIs).  Five players had two hits each,, Esteban Quiroz, Weston Wilson, Rafael Marchan, Drew Ellis and Cal Stevenson.  Ellis, Marchan, Stevenson and Dustin Peterson doubled.  Scott Kingery and Wilson tripled.  Quiroz homered as did Darick Hall (three RBIs).

Summary :


Marcus Lee Sang homered in the first inning.


Rainer Nunez homered for New Hampshire in the second inning.  A hit batter and triple scored a run for them in the fourth inning.


Nick Ward doubled in the fifth inning and scored on a single by Herbert Iser.  Oliver Dunn doubled to score Iser.


A hit batter and double scored a run for New Hampshire in the seventh.  Rainer Nunez hit his second home run of the game to score two runs.


Five walks, two singles, two stolen bases,  a sac fly and a triple scored seven runs for New Hampshire in the ninth.


On the Hill :


David Parkinson was again very strong, six innings, two runs, six hits, three walks, six strikeouts.  Jordi Martinez pitched two thirds of an inning, two runs on one hit.  Dominic Pipkin went one and one third innings, one run, one hit, three strikeouts.  Andrew Baker went two thirds of an inning, five runs, two hits, three walks, one strikeout.  Konnor Ash pitched one third of an inning, two runs, one hit, two walks - two inherited runners scored.


At the Bat :


Marcus Lee Sang had two hits (double and home run) and two walks.  Nick Ward doubled.

South Atlantic League ( High A ) - Aberdeen 10 (28-30, 60-62) Jersey Shore 8 (33-26, 68-56) - ten innings

Lakewood, NJ - ShoreTown Ballpark


Summary :


Bryan Rincon walked and Gabriel Rincones Jr was hit by a pitch in the first inning,  Kendall Simmons doubled to score a run. Andrick Nava singled to score another.  Simmons scored on a balk.


Two singles and a ground rule double scored an Aberdeen run in the second inning.   Samuel Basallo homered for them in the third inning.


Kendall Simmons singled in the third inning, Andrick Nava walked.  Anthony Quirion singled to score Simmons.


Bryan Rincon singled in the fifth inning, went to second on a ground out and scored on a single by Kendall Simmons.  Jared Carr singled to score Simmons.


Erick Brito walked in the sixth, Bryan Rincon reached on an error, Gabriel Rincones Jr singled to score Brito.  Rincon then scored on a wild pitch.


Samuel Basallo hit his second home run of the game for Aberdeen in the eighth inning.


Three singles, a walk and a two two out doubles scored five runs for Aberdeen in the ninth inning.  All the runs scored with two outs in the inning.


The game went into extra innings tied at eight each.


Aberdeen scored the placed runner in the tenth inning on a walk, wild pitch and ground out.  They scored another on a RBI single.   Catcher Andrick Nava left the game after a throw to the plate from the outfield , seemed like a wrist injury.


On the Hill :


Sam Aldegheri pitched five and a third innings, two runs, six hits, one walk, eight strikeouts.  Andrew Walling pitched an inning and two thirds, no runs, one hit, no walks, two strikeouts.  Rodolfo Sanchez pitched one and two third innings, six runs, six hits, one walk. Jonh Henriquez pitched an inning and third, two runs - one earned, two hits, three walks.


At the Bat :


Kendall Simmons had three hits (two singles and double) and scored three runs.  Bryan Rincon had two hits and scored three runs.

Summary :


Emaarion Boyd singled in the first inning, stole second, moved to third on a groundout and scored on a single by Zach Arnold.


Two doubles and two singles scored two runs for Fort Myers in the third inning.


Nate Baez hit a three run home run for Fort Myers in the seventh inning. The runs were unearned due to an error in the inning.


A single, hit batter, wild pitch and sac fly scored a ninth inning run for Fort Myers.


On the Hill :


Estibenzon Jimenez pitched well, five innings, two runs, six hits, two walks, six strikeouts.  Nate Karaffa pitched two innings, three unearned runs, four hits, no walks and two strikeouts.  Saul Teran pitched two innings,one run, two hits, one walk, two strikeouts.


At the Bat :


Emaarion Boyd and Chad Castillo each had two hits.  Boyd stole his 54th base of the season.
