Welcome to the Eastern League Championship - In their first trip to the postseason since 2019, the Fightin Phils now appear in their first Eastern League Championship Series since 2015. They match up against the Erie SeaWolves, Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The teams met for one series this season, two weeks ago, from Sept. 8-13 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading. The Fightin Phils took four-of-six games from the SeaWolves, scoring over 10 runs in all of their wins two weeks ago. Sunday’s game will be Reading’s first at UPMC Park in Erie since July 26-31, of the 2022 season.
