9/5/26 : Aidan Miller to begin rehab with Threshers

As previously reported by both Matt Gelb of the Athletic and Scott Lauber of the Inquirer twenty-two year old Aidan Miller is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment tonight with the Clearwater Threshers. If he plays it will be his first game action of the season as he’s been sidelined since 9/18/25 with a back injury.
He has worked diligently to return to action thru medical consultation, procedure and extensive therapy with the rehab team at the complex in Clearwater. He’s been taking batting practice, throwing and fielding baseballs for a bit now enabling him to return to game action.
Aidan had a very strong 2025 season posting a .392 OBP and .825 OPS in 526 plate appearances with Reading and Lehigh Valley. He posted 27 doubles, 2 triples, 14 home runs and 42 RBIs while stealing 59 bases. Plans were for him to play in the 2025 Arizona Fall League (AFL) but the back injury sidelined him instead.
He now returns with an eye towards getting in as much game action as possible before the minor league season ends after which the AFL might be a possible October assignment. There is a planned protocol the organization uses when players return to game duty, initially innings are limited.
Aidan has a tremendous spirit, is resilient, respectful and hard working and has a great outlook. An injury setback is difficult for any person to deal with but he’s done so with a strong work ethic and belief in himself that he would get thru it. The young man is someone ya can’t help but root for - on top of all that he’s tremendously talented as a baseball player!
So from a fan’s view welcome back to game action Aidan. We are very happy for you and excited to see how you continue to progress!

LHP Wesley Moore has undergone Tommy John surgery. He posted the news on his instagram account. He was placed on the full-season IL on 6/16/26. Wes has one of the most dynamic change ups in the organization as a high leverage situational reliever, he struggled with elbow and shoulder pain last season and again this spring - attempted to pitch thru it but could not. We wish him a full recovery which allows him to return to prior form.
