Summary :


Oswaldo Cabrera hit a solo home run for SWB in the 4th inning.


Miguel Andujar hit a two run homer as part of a four run 5th inning for Scranton Wilkes Barre.


Scott Kingery hit a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth.

Summary :


Jhailyn Ortiz walked in the first inning, advanced to second when Logan O’Hoppe reached on an error and scored on a single by Aldrem Corredor.


After a single and double put runners on second and third a wild pitch allowed a run to score for Somerset in the 2nd inning.

Brandon Lockridge hit a two run tater for Somerset in the third.


Aldrem Corredor & Kevin Vicuna singled in the 3rd inning - AJ Graffanino doubled to score Corredor. Simon Muzziotti doubled to score Vicuna & Graffanino.


Michael Beltre was hit by a pitch in the bottom of the 4th, went to third on a single by Chad Bell and scored on a sac fly by Anthony Volpe.  Elijah Dunham hit a two run home run.


Chad Bell hit a grand slam home run for Somerset in the 7th inning.


Vito Friscia hit a two run home run in the 8th inning.


Jhailyn Ortiz was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to score a run in the 9th. Logan O’Hoppe hit a sac fly with one out to score another run.

Three straight innings with solo home runs.   Rixon Wingrove homered in the second inning.  Freddy Francisco homered in the 3rd inning.  Ethan Wilson homered in the 4th inning.


Alex Ramirez hit an RBI single for Brooklyn in the 5th. Jose Mena singled in a run in the 6th.  JT Schwartz singled in a run in the 7th.  Rowdey Jordan doubled in a run in the 8th.

Summary :


Andrik Nava hit his 3rd home run of the season in the 2nd inning to give Clearwater a 1-0 lead.


Bradenton plated a run in the top of the third on a bases loaded wild pitch - the game went into a weather delay with one out in the inning.


After the delay :


The Marauders scored three runs in the 3rd on four walks, an error a single.


Hao Yu Lee & Leandro Pineda reached base on singles in the bottom of the 3rd, Andrik Nava singled along with an error scored them both.  Arturo De Freitas reached on an error which allowed Nava to score.


Erick Brito reached on an error in the sixth inning, he scored on a single by Hao Yu Lee.  Lee advanced to second on an error and scored on a single by Marcus Lee Sang.


Wyatt Hendrie doubled in two runs in a three run inning for Bradenton in the 6th.


Hao Yu Lee doubled in the bottom of the sixth, went to third on a single by Marcus Lee Sang & scored on a ground out by Kendall Simmons.


With two outs in the bottom of the 7th inning the game went into weather delay ( lighting ) again.  A little over an hour later the game was called at around 11:30. In total there were 2 hours and 30 minutes of delay time.


On The Hill :

Florida Complex League


Phillies ( 12-17 ) Blue Jays ( 17-12 ) - doubleheader


Game One : Phillies 10 Blue Jays 2


Summary :


Yemal Flores singled in the second inning, advanced to second on an error, to third on a wild pitch and scored on a single by Oscar Gonzalez.


The Phillies scored five runs in the third inning -  Jehisbert Sevilla & Nikau Pouaka-Grego both walked, Jordan Viars singled to score Sevilla.  Rickardo Perez singled to load the bases, Yemal Flores singled to score two runs and Oscar Gonzalez singled to score one. Flores later scored on a wild pitch.


With one out in the bottom of the third play was halted due to Florida rain.


The game resumed at this point on Roberts Field at Carpenter Complex


Marcos De La Rosa homered for the Jays in the 6th - a no doubter over the right field fence.


Jehisbert Sevilla walked in the 8th, advanced to third base on two wild pitches and scored on a single by Felix Reyes.  Jordan Viars & Jackie Pertuz walked to load the bases.   Albert Rodriquez doubled to score two runs.  Pertuz later scored on a balk.


The Blue Jays scored a run in the bottom of the 8th.


On The Hill :

Game Two : Blue Jays 5 Phillies 3 - 7th inning


Summary :


The Blue Jays scored a run in the second on a double by Marcos De La Rosa.


Albert Rodriquez singled in the bottom of the second, stole second base and scored on a single by Jehisbert Sevilla.


Manuel Beltre singled, stole second and scored on a single by Robert Robertis for the Jays in the third inning.


The Blue Jays scored twice in the 6th - a walk and hit batter put two runners on base, they executed a double steal to move to second and third bases.  A sac fly by Peniel Brito scored a run, a throwing error by pitcher Nicoly Pina scored another.


Juan Gonzalez doubled in a run for the Jays in the 7th


Jehisbert Sevilla singled with one out in the bottom of the seventh, went to third on a double by Jordan Viars and scored on a single by Rickardo Perez.  Pinch hitter Oscar Gonzalez singled to score Viars.  The Phillies loaded the bases with two outs but couldn’t score as a fly ball to center field ended the game.

Dominican Summer League :


Phillies Red 9 ( 21-12 ) Cardinals 2 ( 19-18 )


Summary :


Fernando Hernandez hit an RBI single in the 2nd inning, Jose Colmenarez an RBI double and Yemil Rosario and RBI sac fly.


Two singles and a doubled plated a run for the Cardinals in the third.  Jerffson Pena hit a two run home run for the Phillies in the bottom of the third.


The Cardinals scored a run in the 4th on three singles.


Jose Colmenarez hit a two run home run in the sixth inning.


A bases loaded walk followed by a hit batter scored two runs for the Phillies in the eighth.


On The Hill :


RH Luis Gonzalez - 6 IP, 2 R, 6 H, 0 BB, 4 K’s

Phillies White ( 21-12 ) Tigers2 ( 14-15. ) - doubleheader


Game One : Phillies White 10  Tigers2 9 - seven innings


Summary :


The Phillies loaded the bases in the bottom of the second on a single, bunt and hit batter - seventeen year old William Bergolla ( making his DSL and pro debut ) singled to score two runs.


The game was halted due to rain with one out in the top of the third inning with right handed Ezequiel Ventura on the mound for the Phillies.


The game was part of a re-scheduled double header with a makeup of the 7/2 contest slated - tbd when both games get re-scheduled.


Play resumed today at this point


The Tigers scored a run in the fourth inning on a walk, double and ground out.  They scored four in the sixth on two walks, two singles and a two run double by Ricardo Hurtado.


Raylin Heredia doubled to score two runs for the Phillies in the bottom of the 6th, Juan Villavicencio doubled to score two more.


Reylin Perez homered for the Tigers to start the 7th, they scored three more runs thereafter on three walks, a double, two sac flys and a wild pitch.


Trailing by three runs the Phillies scored four in the bottom of the seventh for a walk off victory - Manolfi Jimenez doubled to score two runs. Raylin Heredia singled and stole second base - Jarol Martinez singled to score Jimenez & Heredia and win the game!


On The Hill :

Raylin Heredia had three hits including a double and two RBIs.  William Bergolla, Manolfi Jimenez, Raylin Heredia, Juan Villavicencio & Jarol Martinez each had two RBIs.


Game Two : Tigers2 5 Phillies White 0 - seven innings - no hitter


Summary :


A bases loaded ( 2 walks & a single ) wild pitch scored a run for the Tigers in the first inning.


Three more Tigers scored in the fourth on two singles, a walk, fielding error and a triple by Samuel Gil.


The old double steal of second and home plated the Tigers fifth run in the 6th inning.


RH Pedro Garcia threw six no hit innings for the Tigers, he struck out just two batters - he retired all 18 batters he faced - four on groundouts and 10 on fly outs  😳.   LH Jorge Boyer finished the no hitter allowing just a walk while striking out the side in the seventh inning.


On The Hill :
