Prior to today’s game, the Phillies recalled infielder Kody Clemens from triple-A Lehigh Valley and placed infielder Darick Hall on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to 4/6) with a right thumb sprain.

He is the son of former major league pitcher Roger Clemens.

Last year, Hall was the recipient of the Paul Owens Award, presented annually to the organization’s top minor league player. In 41 games for the Phillies in 2022, Hall hit nine home runs and posted a .522 slugging percentage in 142 plate appearances.
He was originally selected by the Phillies in the 14th round of the 2016 MLB Draft.
