International League ( AAA ) - Worcester 10 ( 23-25 ) Lehigh Valley 2 ( 25-23 )


Allentown, PA - Coca-Cola Park


Summary :


Jaren Duran tripled to score a run for Worcester in the third inning, he later scored on a wild pitch. They added three more on three hits, a walk and an error.


Jorge Bonifacio hit a two run double in the 5th inning.


Rob Refsnyder and Christin Stewart each hit a solo homer for Worcester in the 7th inning. Ronaldo Hernandez hit a two run home run. They scored another run in the 8th inning.

Eastern League ( AA ) - Binghamton 9 ( 16-28 ) Reading 7 ( 19-26 )


Reading, PA - First Energy Stadium


Summary :


Carlos Cortes, Hayden Senger & Quinn Brodey hit consecutive doubles for Binghamton in the second inning to score two runs. Wyatt Young singled to score Brodey. Four more singles scored three more runs. Binghamton sent 11 batters to the dish in the inning and chased Reading starter Ethan Lindow.


Logan O’Hoppe singled in the bottom of the 2nd, went to third on a double by Kevin Vicuna and scored when Jonathan Guzman reached on an error.

Binghamton scored a run in the third on an RBI double by Jeremy Vasquez.


Mickey Moniak singled in the bottom of the third and scored when Aldrem Corredor homered over the center field wall.


Kevin Vicuna doubled in the 4th inning, went to third on a single by Jonathan Guzman and scored on a groundout by Sal Gozzo. Mickey Moniak doubled off the right field wall to score Guzman.


Francisco Alvarez singled in the 6th inning for the Rumble Ponies and scored on a double by Carlos Cortes on a close play at the plate. Hayden Senger singled to score Cortes.


Jonathan Guzman led off the bottom of the sixth with a double. He went to third on a groundout and scored on another groundout.

Josh Ockimey scored Logan O’Hoppe ( walked ) with a double down the right field line in the 9th inning.

South Atlantic League ( High A ) - Greenville 4 ( 18-27 ) Jersey Shore 2 ( 16-27 )


Lakewood, NJ - Shoretown Ballpark


Summary :


Johan Rojas used his great speed to manufacture a run in the second inning. He hit a blooper down the right field line that he turned into a double by sprinting out of the box. He then stole third base and scored when the catcher threw the ball into left field attempting to get him 💨.

Greenville put two runners on with walks in the 2nd inning, Alex Erro singled to plate one.


Greenville loaded the bases on two singles and a walk in the 4th inning, Gilberto Jimenez doubled to score three.


Ethan Wilson led off the bottom of the sixth with a pretty bunt down the third base line.


Nicolas Torres legged out an infield single in the 7th inning, went to third when Uziel Viloria reached base on a fielder’s choice/throwing error by the pitcher. Torres scored on a groundout by Jared Carr. Greenville infielders made three diving stops on hard hit ground balls in the inning to record outs 🥴.


On The Hill :

Johan Rojas made a diving catch in center field to end the fourth inning. Rafael Marchan gunned down a runner attempting to steal second base to end the 6th inning.


Florida State League ( Low A ) - Jupiter 5 ( 25-20 ) Clearwater 2 ( 23-21 )

Summary :


Jupiter put two runners on base with singles and no outs in the third inning. A ground ball was hit to first baseman Micah Yonamine who sailed a throw to second base into left field which allowed a run to score. Brady Allen hit a three run home run for Jupiter to make the score 4-0.


Kendall Simmons hit a home run in the 5th inning scoring Wilfredo Flores ( singled ) in front of him.


Brady Allen hit his second home run of the game for Jupiter in the 8th inning.


On The Hill :
