Notes :

Andrew Painter was scheduled to start but was scratched per the team due to “ innings management”. I don’t believe that he will pitch this coming week against Brooklyn either. There is a predetermined innings target set and the development plan includes a good deal of lifting and pitch development outside of games. It’s certainly not the old school approach of throwing as many innings as possible in games but it is the plan.
