Notes :

The Blue Jays hits in the ninth inning were jam job bloopers off the hands.

The Phillies pulled off a spectacular 3-6-1 double play to end the 8th inning - a ground ball was fielded by first baseman Oscar Gonzalez who threw a bullet to shortstop Jehisbert Sevilla who threw to pitcher Estibenzon Jimenez who scooped a low throw from Sevilla and held the first base bag. A lot of jubilant celebrations thereafter.

Center Fielder Simon Muzziotti made his first rehab appearance - he’s both well schooled and smooth as a defender - besides his two throwing assists in the first two innings he put on a clinic on how to catch fly balls ( getting behind them in a position to throw ).

Jose Pena Jr has an outstanding fastball, today he struggled with secondaries location and control. Continues to learn his craft. Both Guissepe Velasquez & Estibenzon Jimenez control to impress, good velo and movement on their pitches. Albertus Barber got in on the hands of the batters who had hits off of him but they blooped soft Texas leaguers over the infield.
