Today at the Complex :

Some of the recent signees were on Ashburn Field this afternoon and we were on hand to watch as they went thru some introductory drills.

Catchers Gustavo Sosa, Caleb Ricketts, Jordan Dissin & Ryan Leitch did some throwing and blocking drills - Leitch has a prototypical catchers build and throw from behind the ear.

Infielders Matt Alifano, Ty Penner & Cole Moore took grounders and did eye-hand drills - Otto Kemp looked on, I assume he’s waiting for physical info to come back before signing his contract - every year we see that - can’t take the field in drills till the paper is officially signed.

Outfielders Chad Castillo, Cade Fergus, Troy Scheffler, Ezra Farmer & Dakota Kotowski took fly balls and grounders in center field.  Just an initial observation - Farmer and Fergus are really quick and Scheffler is also fleet footed.
