Utility player Dylan Moore has signed a minor league contract with the Phillies for the 2026 season. The thirty three year old was the 2015 7th round draft selection of the Texas Rangers and has played in seven major league seasons including 2025 with the Mariners and Rangers when he appeared in 106 games posting a .201/.267/.374 slash line in 243 plate appearances with 11 home runs and 25 RBIs - he hit .259/.300/.481 with a .781 OPS in 18 games (30 plate appearances) with the Rangers after signing with them on 8/27/25 - he had been released by Seattle on 8/25/25. Moore played in the majors with the Mariners from 2019 thru 2025. He has a career slash line of .206/.310/.383 and an OPS of .693 in 1,922 major league plate appearances with 63 home runs and 192 RBIs.
Dylan is a right handed batter who has played every defensive position in the show with the exception of catcher. He’s played in 205 games at second base, 154 in left field, 128 at shortstop and 108 in right field, 90 at third base with double digit game action at 1st base and center field. In 2024 he won a big league gold glove as a utility player - is noted as a very reliable defender at every position he’s played.
He’s also noted as being one of the most popular players during his tenure in Seattle, and for putting the team first in his approach. Has played in the Rangers, Braves, Brewers and Mariners organizations.
