Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in winter leagues from games played on 1/6. Current Phillies bolded and underlined.
Dominican Winter League : Round Robin Playoff Tournament : RHP Jonathan Hernandez pitched a scoreless inning (1 H, 1 BB, 2 K’s - 18 pitches - 9 strikes) as did RHP Yunior Marte (perfect frame - 1 K) for the Aguilas Cibaenas (4-4) in a 6-5 win over the Gigantes del Cibao (0-8). Johan Rojas (CF) went 1 for 4 (single) with a walk and RBI for the Gigantes.
Mexican Winter League :
Charros de Jalisco 8 (3-2) Naranjeros de Hermosillo 5 (2-3) - RHP Alan Rangel pitched an inning (2 unearned R, 1 H, 1 K - 19 pitches - 17 strikes) for the Naranjeros in relief.
Tomateros de Culiacán 2 (2-3) Cañeros de Los Mochis 0 (3-2) - Joey Meneses (1B) was 3 for 4 (two singles & double) with an RBI for the Tomateros. LHP Anthony Gose pitched 1.1 perfect innings (1 K) to close out the win.
Algodoneros de Guasave 7 (4-1) Jaguares de Nayarit 0 (1-4) - Guasave wins the series - Jorge Flores (SS) went 1 for 3 (triple) with an RBI for the Algodoneros.
Venezuela Winter League : Round Robin Playoff Tournament : games postponed for other reasons - play scheduled to resume 1/7/26
Puerto Rico Winter League : League Playoffs : no games - play scheduled to resume 1/7/26
Colombian Winter League : RHP Nabil Crismatt pitched four innings (2 R, 6 H, 2 BB, 2 K’s) for the Caimanes de Barranquilla in a 7-4 loss to the Vaqueros de Monteria.
