Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played 10/17 and 10/18.
Arizona Fall League :
10/17 : RHP Jaydenn Estanista pitched two innings in relief (1 R, 3 H, 0 BB, 2 K’s - 28 pitches - 20 strikes - four seam FB 95-98 mph, slider and curve) and RHP Daniel Harper went 1/3 of an inning (0 R, 0 H, 1 BB, 1 K - 8 pitches - 4 strikes - inherited bases loaded, one scored, four seam FB 95-96 mph) while Bryan Rincon played shortstop and went 0 for 3 with a walk for the Surprise Saguaros. Surprise lost to Glendale 10-1.
10/18 : RHP Eiberson Castellano started for the Surprise Saguaros and pitched three innings (3 R, 3 H, 2 BB, 5 K’s - 54 pitches - 34 strikes) in a 11-4 loss to Scottsdale. Eiberson threw 15 changeups, 14 curveballs, 9 sinkers (92-93 mph), 9 four seamers (91-94 mph) and 7 sliders. Of the 26 swings against him 14 were misses - 7 misses of 10 swings against his best pitch curve ball.
Dominican Winter League :
10/17 : Felix Reyes (DH) went 0 for 2 with a walk for the Toros del Este in a 14-7 win over the Aguilas Cibaenas. Former Phillie infielder Yairo Munoz was 3 for 5 for the Toros with two singles and a double. Former Phillies RHP Ramon Rosso pitched 1.1 innings (3 R, 3 H, 1 BB, 2 K’s) for the Aguilas.
Mexican Winter League :
10/17 : former Phillies minor leaguer Jorge Flores went 3 for 5 (single & two doubles) for Algodoneros de Guasave in a 7-6 loss to Charros de Jalisco. Luis Verdugo was 2 for 4 as was former Phillies minor leaguer Jon Singleton for Tomateros de Culiacán in a 3-2 win against Águilas de Mexicali. Former Phillies RHP Devin Sweet pitched a scoreless frame in relief for Yaquis de Obregó in a 1-0 win against Venados de Mazatlán. Former Phillies minor league LHP Jared Wetherbee pitched five scoreless innings (5 H, 2 BB, 7 K’s - 104 pitches - 64 strikes) for Jaguares de Nayarit in a 7-5 win over Cañeros de Los Mochis. RHP Orlando Gonzalez pitched a perfect inning in relief and struck out the side (16 pitches - 9 strikes) for Naranjeros de Hermosillo in a 5-1 loss to the Tucson Baseball Team. Former Phillie Darick Hall was 1 for 4 (single) in the game fot Hermosillo.
10/18 : Darick Hall had three hits (two singles and a two run home run) posting six RBIs for Naranjeros de Hermosillo in a 13-6 win against the Tucson Baseball Team. Former Phillies minor league outfielder Jared Carr went 1 for 2 with a double for Algodoneros de Guasave in a 7-5 loss to Charros de Jalisco. Former Phillies minor league LHP Taylor Lehman pitched a scoreless inning in relief (1 H, 1 BB, 2 K’s - 20 pitches - 11 strikes) for Jaguares de Nayarit in a 4-2 win over Cañeros de Los Mochis. Former Phillies minor league RHP Manuel Urias pitched two scoreless innings (0 H, 1 BB, 3 K’s) in relief for the Caneros. Former Phillies minor league RHP Fernando Lozano pitched five innings (2 R, 3 H, 0 BB, 6 K’s) for Águilas de Mexicali in a 6-3 win against Tomateros de Culiacán.
Venezuela Winter League :
10/17 : former Phillies minor leaguer Ali Castillo was 3 for 5 (two singles & double) for Aguilas del Zulia in a 13-4 loss to Tiburones de La Guaira. LHP Cristhian Tortosa pitched a perfect inning in relief (1 K - 11 pitches - 8 strikes) for the Cardenales de Lara in a 1-0 win against Navegantes del Magallanes. Former Phillies minor leaguer Aldrem Corredor was 2 for 3 (single & three run HR) for the Leones del Caracas in a 13-6 win against the Bravos de Margarita - former Phillies minor leaguer Wilson Garcia went 2 for 4 (singles) for the Bravos. Former Phillies minor league outfielder Herlis Rodriquez went 2 for 4 (singles) with a walk for Caribes de Anzoategui in a 3-2 loss to the Tigres de Aragua. Former Phillies minor league RHP Carlos Betancourt pitched a scoreless inning (1 BB - 14 pitches - 5 strikes) for the Tigres.
10/18 : former Phillies minor league LHP Rafael Marcano pitched three scoreless innings (2 H, 0 BB, 4 K’s - 44 pitches - 30 strikes) for Caribes de Anzoategui in a 3-2 loss to Leones del Caracas. Former Phillies minor leaguer Aldrem Corredor went 2 for 3 (single & double) with a walk for Caracas. Former Phillies minor leaguer Ali Castillo was 3 for 5 (singles), former Phillies outfielder Simon Muzziotti 2 for 5 (singles) and former Phillies RHP Francisco Morales pitched a perfect inning (1 K - 12 pitches - 10 strikes) for Aguilas del Zulia in a 7-6 win against Navegantes del Magallanes. Former Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera pinch hit, walked and scored a run and former Phillies minor league RHPAndrew Schultz pitched 2/3 of an inning (0 R, 2 BB, 1 K - 16 pitches - 6 strikes) for Tigres de Aragua in a 2-1 ten inning win over the Bravos de Margarita - all the runs scored in the tenth inning - former Phillies minor league RHP Luis Pacheco pitched an inning (0 R, 2 H, 0 BB, 1 K - 17 pitches - 11 strikes) for the Bravos.
Puerto Rico Winter League : League play begins 11/6/25
It was announced that two current Phillies minor league pitchers will pitch for the Cangrejeros De Santurce team - RHP Andrew Baker and LHP Tristan Garnett.
