Arizona Fall League (AFL) :
The Phillies are part of the Scottsdale team this year.
10/21/23 : Scottsdale 3 (11-6) Salt River 2 (9-9)
Third baseman Matt Kroon went 2 for 3 with a walk and RBI. He singled in the top of the eighth to score teammate Gabriel Rincones Jr with what would turn out to be the game winning run.
Right fielder Rincones Jr was 0 for 3 but walked twice and stole three bases 👀. He scored two runs. Second baseman Oliver Dunn went 0 for 4 but had an RBI. Caleb Ricketts entered the game as a pinch hitter and stayed in thereafter as the DH - he went 0 for 2.
Gabriel Rincones Jr now has eight stolen bases for the AFL season.
Dominican Winter League :
Former Phillie Ramon Rosso pitched five innings for Aguilas Cibaenas allowing one run on one hit with three walks and three strikeouts in their 10 to 3 win over the Toros del Este.
Jhordany Mezquita pitched one and two third innings for Aguilas Cibaenas - one run on one walk, three strikeouts.
Taylor Lehman made his debut for the Tigres del Licey facing three batters in their 5-0 loss to the Gigantes del Cibao. Rough go for Taylor as he yield two runs on two hits and a walk.
Venezuelan Winter League :
The league began play on 10/21/23. Simon Muzziotti went 1 for 5 for Aguilas Del Zulia in their opening day win
against Navegantes Del Magallanes.
