There were 209 players who made their major league debuts this season in a 60 game season. Comparatively in 2019 there were 261 debuts in a full 162 game season of play, 247 in 2018, 262 in 2017 and 257 in 2016.

Twenty two 2015 draft picks made their MLB debuts in 2020. Of the 949 players signed from the 2015 MLB draft ... 124 have now played in the major leagues (12.9 % ) ...


The Pirates had four 2015 draftees debut this year giving them nine in total that have reached the major leagues ... that leads the way thus far ... the top clubs in terms of 2015 draftees reaching the majors ...
