11/2/25 : Winter League Roundup

Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played on 10/31 and 11/1.  Current Phillies bolded and underlined.

Arizona Fall League :

10/31 : Dante Nori (CF) went 2 for 4 (singles) with two RBIs and a run scored.  Dylan Campbell (3B) was 2 for 4 (singles) with two RBIs for the Surprise Saguaros. Starlyn Caba (SS) went 2 for 5 (two singles & HR) with three RBIs and a run scored for the Mesa Solar Sox.  Mesa won the seven inning game 8-7.

11/1 : RHP Jack Dallas opened and pitched two innings (1 R, 2 H, 4 BB, 4 K’s - 47 pitches - 28 strikes), RHP Daniel Harper also went two innings (0 R, 1 H, 2 BB, 1 K - 34 pitches - 14 strikes) and RHP Jaydenn Estanista a perfect inning (1 K - 13 pitches -7 strikes) while Bryan Rincon played shortstop but went 0 for 4 for the Surprise Saguaros in a 6-4 win over the Peoria Javelinas.

Dominican Winter League :

10/31 : Johan Rojas (CF) went 2 for 4 (single & double), stole a base and scored a run for the Gigantes del Cibao in a 3-1 win over the Estrellas Orientales. Rodolfo Castro (SS) was 1 for 3 (double) for the Estrellas. Aneurys Zabala pitched a perfect inning (1 K) for the Leones del Escogido in a 3-2 loss to the Toros del Este. Felix Reyes pinch hit in the game for the Toros but struck out in his only at bat. LHP Jhordany Mezquita pitched 1.2 innings (0 R, 2 H, 0 BB, 2 K’s - 26 pitches - 19 strikes) for the Aguilas Cibaenas in a 3-0 victory over the Tigres del Licey.

11/1 : Left fielder Felix Reyes was 2 for 4 (single & HR) with an RBI and two runs scored for the Toros del Este in a 12-3 loss to the Leones del Escogido.  RHP Adonis Medina pitched two scoreless innings (1 H, 2 K’s)  for the Tigres del Licey in a 4-1 loss to the Aguilas Cibaenas.  Johan Rojas (CF) went 1 for 3 (single) with two walks and two runs scored for the Gigantes del Cibao in a 8-7 win against the  Estrellas Orientales. Rodolfo Duran (C) was 2 for 4 (single & double) for the Estrellas.

Mexican Winter League :

10/31 : Luis Verdugo (SS) went 1 for 4 (solo HR) for the Tomateros de Culiacán in a 6-2 loss to the Yaquis de Obregón. RHP Pedro Reyes pitched four innings (2 R, 7 H, 2 BB, 1 K) for the Tomateros. Jorge Flores (SS) was 2 for 4 (single & double) with a run scored and Pony Quiroz (2B) went 1 for 3 (HR, 2 RBIs) for the Algodoneros de Guasave in a 7-2 loss to the Venados de Mazatlán. RHP Manuel Urias pitched two scoreless innings (1 H, 1 K) for the Cañeros de Los Mochis in a 2-1 win against the Tucson Baseball Team.  LHP Taylor Lehman pitched 1.1 perfect innings (1 K) for the Jaguares de Nayarit in a 5-2 victory against the Águilas de Mexicali.

11/1 : Darick Hall (1B) was 2 for 5 (single & double) with a run scored and RBI for the Naranjeros de Hermosillo in a 5-4 loss to the Charros de Jalisco.  LHP Erubiel Armenta pitched 2/3 of an inning (no runs, one hit) for the Cañeros de Los Mochis in a 5-4 win against the Tucson Baseball Team.

Venezuela Winter League :

10/31 : RHP Andrew Schultz pitched a perfect inning (11 pitches - 6 strikes) and RHP Gregory Infante pitched a scoreless frame (1 H, 1 BB) for the Tigres de Aragua in a 3-1 win against the Tiburones de La Guaira. RHP Mauricio Llovera pitched two innings (1 R, 2 H, 0 BB, 1 K) for the Tiburones. Aldrem Corredor (1B) went 2 for 4 (single & HR) with three RBIs for the Leones del Caracas in a 6-5 win against the Cardenales de Lara. RHP Max Castillo pitched five innings (2 runs - 1 earned, 5 H, 1 BB, 1 K) for the Cardenales.

11/1 : Simon Muzziotti (CF) went 2 for 3 (singles) and Jose Godoy (C) 1 for 2 (double) for the Aguilas del Zulia in a 3-0 game one win of a doubleheader against the Caribes de Anzoategui. Herlis Rodriquez (CF) was 1 for 3 (HR) with an RBI and walk and LHP Rafael Marcano pitched two scoreless frames (1 H, 4 K’s) for the Caribes de Anzoategui in game two, a 2-0 win for the Caribes.  LHP Cristhian Tortosa pitched 2.2 innings (1 R, 2 H, 2 BB, 2 K’s - 49 pitches - 28 strikes) for the Cardenales de Lara in a 10-4 win against the Bravos de Margarita.

Puerto Rico Winter League : League play begins 11/6/25

LHP Tristan Garnett and RHP Andrew Baker are in Puerto Rico training with the Cangrejeros De Santurce team and will pitch for the club once the season opens. RHP Carlos Francisco will pitch for the Indios de Mayaguez for a fifth consecutive year and LHP Keylan Killgore will also pitch for the Indios this season.

Australian Baseball League : League play begins 11/12/25

Select Phillies minor leaguers will play for the Adelaide Giants and Manager Chris “Tank” Adamson who is also the current bench coach for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Clearwater Coach Nerluis Martinez will also be on the Adelaide staff this season. LHP Camron Hill, RHP Giussepe Velasquez, RHP Danyony Pulido, Catcher Alirio Ferrebus and outfielder/second-baseman Devin Saltiban will be on the Adelaide opening day roster with a few other players likely joining the club later. Catcher Mitchell Edwards, infielder Nick Ward, outfielder Jordan McArdle, LHP Lachlan Wells and RHP Todd Van Steensel are former Phillies minor leaguers who will also play this season for the Giants. Former Phillies minor league first baseman Rixon Wingrove will be playing for the Brisbane Bandits.

Clearwater High Performance Camp :

Invited participants continue a camp this week focused on agility and strength and conditioning at the Carpenter Complex. The intent is to prepare the participants for individual off-season work when they break camp and for the 2026 camps which begin in January.

Other Notes :

A heads up for coaches and ball players in the Philadelphia area - there will be an outstanding coaches clinic on 12/6/25 at the Primal Physical Therapy KOP (989 Eagle School Road, Suite 812, Wayne, PA 19087) from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM with breakfast and lunch provided. Speakers include current Phillies minor league coaches Ray Ricker and Phil Cundari. Costs are $60 per person or $120 per staff (maximum of three per staff) and high school players are free.
