The Phillies have added LHP Kyle Dohy, LHP Bailey Falter, LHP Damon Jones, INF Nick Maton, RHP Francisco Morales and OF Simon Muzziotti to the 40-man roster.
Dohy has a career record of 16-15 with a 3.89 ERA in 109 games, all in relief. He’s struck out a whopping 238 batters while walking 121 in 155 innings pitched. Kyle is 24 years old and was the club’s 16th round draft selection in the 2017 draft.
Falter has a career record of 24-25 in 75 games ( 74 starts ) with a 3.16 ERA in 381.2 IP with 347 K’s and only 73 walks. Bailey was drafted in the 5th round of the 2015 draft and is now 23 years old. He’s got a classic long arm over the top delivery.
Jones has a career minor league record of 17-14 in 59 games ( 45 starts ) with a 3.34 ERA in 253.2 IP ( 313 K’s / 129 BB ). He’s 26 years old and was the club’s 18th round selection in the 2017 draft.
Maton has a career slash line of .259/.342/.378 with an OPS of .720 in 286 games. He’s accumulated 1,015 AB’s and has 78 extra base hits ( 52 doubles, 9 triples and 17 home runs ). Nick is 23 years old and was the Phillies 7th round draft choice in the 2017 draft.
Morales is 21 years old and has a career record of 8-15 in 50 games ( 37 starts ) with an ERA of 4.08 in 194.1 IP ( 241 K’s / 99 BB ). He was signed 7/2/16 as an amateur free agent from Venezuela.
Muzziotti is also 21 years old and has a career .268/.314/.344 slash line in 273 games ( 1,069 AB’s ) with an OPS of .658. He’s amassed 287 hits including 43 doubles and has 57 stolen bases in 80 attempts. He’s an outstanding fielder.
