Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played on 11/21 and 11/22 (Australia). Current Phillies bolded and underlined.
Dominican Winter League :
Yairo Munoz (3B) went 4 for 5 (two singles, two doubles) with four RBIs and Bryan De La Cruz (RF) went 1 for 4 (single) with a walk, RBI and two runs scored for the Toros del Este in a 7-6 ten inning win against the Tigres del Licey. Cal Stevenson (LF) went 1 for 3 (single) with two walks and two runs scored for the Tigres. Johan Rojas (CF) was 1 for 4 (double) with a stolen base for the Gigantes del Cibao in a 4-1 loss to the Leones del Escogido. Rodolfo Duran (C) was 1 for 4 (home run) with a walk, two RBIs and two runs scored for the Estrellas Orientales in a 8-7 loss to the Aguilas Cibaenas. RHP Robinson Martinez threw a perfect inning (1 K) for the Leones del Escogido in a 10-2 loss to the Gigantes del Cibao in game two of a doubleheader. Bryan De La Cruz (DH) was 1 for 4 (solo home run) and Felix Reyes (RF) 0 for 4 with a sacrifice fly RBI while Yairo Munoz (3B) was 1 for 2 (double) with a walk and two runs scored for the Toros del Este in a 4-2 win in game two of a doubleheader against the Tigres del Licey.
Mexican Winter League :
Nick Williams (RF) went 2 for 4 (double & HR) with three RBIs and two runs scored for the Cañeros de Los Mochis
in a 8-2 win over the Jaguares de Nayarit.
Venezuela Winter League :
Jose Pirela (DH) went 2 for 4 (single & HR) with an RBI and two runs scored for the Aguilas del Zulia in a 6-4 loss to the Leones del Caracas. RHP Andrew Schultz pitched a perfect inning (1 K) for the Tigres de Aragua in a 5-4 win over the Caribes de Anzoategui.
Puerto Rico Winter League :
Dalton Guthrie (CF) was 2 for 4 (singles) for the Leones de Ponce in a 5-0 loss to the Indios de Mayaguez.
Australian Baseball League :
Adelaide and Perth games were postponed due to rain. Sydney and Brisbane split a doubleheader - Rixon Wingrove (LF) was 1 for 3 (single) in game one for Brisbane.
