For the opportunities before me

And past experiences had

For friendships I’ve made

And those yet to come

For the blessings of believing

A positive approach

For the strength of faith

When challenges broach

For the ability of freedom

The honor to share

For differences of opinion

Responsibility to care

I’m thankful to have

The privilege of life

And look forward with hope

For what will come to be
