Former Phillie Deivi Grullon went 1 for 4 in last night’s contest against Leones del Escogido. The catcher is now hitting .375 ( 6 for 16 ) on the season. Deivi is also now a member of the Boston Red Sox organization.
Leones del Escogido :
Twenty one year old Jonathan Guzman has taken over as the regular shortstop for the club ... he’s made some spectacular plays for the Leones. Johnathan has played in five games and accumulated 10 AB’s ... still searching for his first hit. Great experience being gained for the young infielder who spent the 2019 season with the Lakewood Blue Claws and was in 2020 Fall Instructs camp in Clearwater.
