Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played on 11/7. Current Phillies bolded and underlined.
Arizona Fall League :
Starlyn Caba (SS) was 1 for 3 (double) for the Mesa Solar Sox in a 3-0 loss to the Peoria Javelinas. Dylan Campbell (CF) was 0 for 2 with a walk, sacrifice, two RBIs and a run scored for the Surprise Saguaros in a 11-2 victory against the Salt River Rafters. RHP Daniel Harper pitched an inning (1 R, 1 H, 1 BB, 1 K - 21 pitches - 10 strikes) for the Saguaros.
Dominican Winter League :
Felix Reyes (1B) went 2 for 5 (singles) and Bryan De La Cruz (RF) was 1 for 3 (single) with a walk and RBI while Rafael Lantigua (SS) went 2 for 4 (singles) with two runs scored for the Toros del Estes in a 9-0 win over the Tigres del Licey. Johan Rojas (CF) was 1 for 4 (single) for the Gigantes del Cibao in a 6-2 loss to the Aguilas Cibaenas. RHP Ramon Rosso pitched the ninth inning (1 R, 1 H, 1 K) for the Aguilas.
Mexican Winter League :
RHP Devin Sweet pitched a perfect ninth inning (2 K’s) for the Yaquis de Obregón in a 5-1 win over the Algodoneros de Guasave.
Venezuela Winter League :
RHP Luis Pacheco pitched a perfect inning (1 K) for the Bravos de Margarita in a 6-2 win against the Cardenales de Lara. Rafael Marchan (C) was 0 for 3 with a walk for the Tiburones de La Guaira in a 3-2 loss to the Caribes de Anzoategui. Simon Muzziotti (CF) went 3 for 5 (two singles & double) with two RBIs and a run scored while Ali Castillo (1B) went 2 for 5 (double & HR) with two RBIs and two runs scored for the Aguilas del Zulia in a 8-5 loss to the Leones del Caracas. LHP Ethan Lindow retired the only batter he faced (K) in his debut for the Aguilas.
Puerto Rico Winter League :
Jesmuel Valentin (2B) and Dalton Guthrie (LF) each went 1 for 3 (singles) for the Leones de Ponce in a 1-0 loss to the Indios de Mayaguez. RHP Alexis Rivero pitched the ninth inning (2 K’s) for Mayaguez and recorded his second save in as many chances. LHP Tristan Garnett (1 H) and RHP Andrew Baker(1 H, 1 K - stranded two inherited runners) each pitched a scoreless inning and RHP Jose Peña Jr went 2/3 of an inning (0 R, 1 BB, 1 K - 1 of 3 inherited runners scored) for the Cangrejeros de Santurce in a 4-2 ten inning win over the Senadores de San Juan.
OF Jan Hernandez is on the Gigantes de Carolina roster, INF Vimael Machin is on the Criollos de Caguas team. OF Jadiel Sanchez is playing for the Senadores de San Juan.
