Australian Baseball League :
A good article was released yesterday on how Nick Ward has transitioned to a player-coach role this season for the Adelaide Giants - http://www.adelaidegiants.com.au/news/fiveaaward/. Nick is working as a hitting coach in pre-game planning/scouting and approach. He’s still third in the league in hitting himself - Nick has always been a coach on the field type including his year in the Phillies organization when he mentored teammates with the Jersey Shore BlueClaws. He certainly would make a great addition, perhaps as a development coach, to any player development staff - maybe the Phillies should consider a reunion - local kid (Kennett Square, PA) with great baseball acumen, respect and the ability to communicate - win-win - just sayin.
Happy Day, Happy Baseball ⚾️

Nick Ward
