Austin Listi had two hits including his first home run for the Tigres in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday ( 12/8 ) against Gigantes del Cibao.
On Sunday Austin was involved in something ya rarely see ... in the second inning with runners on first and second he hit a hard one hop ground ball right at the bag to Aguilas Cibaenas third baseman Johan Camargo who stepped on third, threw to second with the relay going on to first for a 5-4-3 triple play ! 😳.
RHP Enyel De Los Santos had a rough outing Tuesday in finding the strike zone during game two for the Tigres ... 2/3 IP - 3 R, 0 H, 3 BB, 2 K’s.
Phillies RHP Joel Cesar pitched a scoreless frame in game two of the 12/8 DH for Gigantes allowing just a walk.
OF Odubel Herrera suffered an injury in his last game played for Gigantes ... he told me he will be back in action soon.
Estralles Orientales :
Rodolfo Duran pinch hit in the ninth inning on Sunday ... just his second AB of the season. He’s 1 for 2 for the season.
Venezuelan League :
RHP Leonel Aponte pitched three scoreless innings for Cardenales de Lara on 12/8 in their game against Aguilas del Zulia. Aponte yielded no hits, one walk and struck out one batter. Leonel has made two appearances on the season and has thrown 5 1/3 scoreless frames.
In the same contest Nineteen year old RHP Elberson Castellano pitched two innings for Aguilas giving up two runs on two hits and a walk ... he struck out one batter.

Caneros de los Mochis :
Darick Hall went 1 for 4 with a single vs Aguilas de Mexicali on Tuesday ... that follows a 1 for 3 game on Sunday. He’s now hitting .302 in 43 AB’s ( 12 games ).
Yaquis de Obregon :
Victor Arano pitched an inning Tuesday night yielding one run on two hits. He faced five batters in this his first outing of the season.

Puerto Rico :
The league opened play on 12/8 as a four team circuit for the 2020-2021 season. The four clubs are RA12 ( sponsored by Roberto Alomar ), Caguas, Manati and Mayaguez.
Phillies minor leaguers C Kevin Escalante, LHP Gabriel Cotto and OF Jadiel Sanchez are on the RA12 roster. Sanchez played right field for RA12 in their opener against Caguas ( a 7-5 loss ) and went 0 for 3 with a walk.
Ex Phillies RHP Yacksel Rios, OF Danny Ortiz and Infielders Jesmuel Valentin and TJ Rivera are on the Mayaguez roster.

Note : MLB is supposed to send notifications to 120 minor league affiliates on 12/9 that offers them 2021 Player Development Licenses. Full details of the new agreement are not expected till mid to late January.
