Scoring Summary :
Bryson Stott walked to lead off the game, Johan Rojas doubled and Brandon Marsh walked to load the bases. Alec Bohm hit a sacrifice fly to right field to score a run. Buddy Kennedy hit a sacrifice fly to center to score another run.
Three walks loaded the bases for the Phillies in the second inning, a wild pitch scored a run. Bryson Stott singled to score a run. Johan Rojas grounded out to score another. Brandon Marsh singled to score a run. Alec Bohm doubled to score one more. Buddy Kennedy hit a two run home run over the green monster in left field.
The Red Sox scored four runs in the second inning on three singles, a double and a throwing error. One of the hits was a fly ball to center field that center fielder Brandon Marsh lost in the sun.
Four consecutive walks scored a run for the Phillies in the fourth inning. Christian Arroyo singled to score a run, Rodolfo Castro grounded out to score another.
Two more walks put runners on first and second for the Phillies in the sixth inning. Kody Clemens singled to score a run. Payton Henry hit a sacrifice fly to score a run. Otto Kemp tripled to score two runs.
Boston scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth on two doubles, a triple and single. A walk, error and single scored a run for them in the eighth

Following today’s game, the Phillies optioned RHP Mick Abel to Lehigh Valley (AAA) and reassigned C Paul McIntosh, INF Otto Kemp and OF’s Matt Kroon & Gabriel Rincones Jr. to minor league camp.

Aaron Nola (4 IP), Jose Ruiz (1 IP), Tanner Banks (1 IP) and Orion Kerkering (1 IP) got their work in at the stadium in a simulated game facing teammates with minor league players manning the defense behind them. Minor league pitchers Alexis De La Cruz, Luis Gonzalez, Wesley Moore, Jaydenn Estanista, and Brandon Beckel each threw an inning while Wilmer Blanco and Josbel Garcia each pitched two innings during the event as well.
