On The Hill :
Zach Eflin ( FB 92-94 ) was excellent, he went four shutout innings yielding just two hits and no walks. He struck out four batters throwing only 39 pitches - 24 for strikes. 💪👏
He was so efficient that he had to go to the bullpen to finish up his pitch count.
Tony Watson ( FB 90-91 ) yielded a bloop single and hit a batter while striking out one in a scoreless fifth inning.
Hector Rondon ( FB 92-94 ) dominated in a perfect sixth inning striking out two batters, he had a nasty swing and miss slider going today.
Bryan Mitchell ( FB 92-95 ) struggled today and was tagged for three runs on a walk, three doubles and a home run in 2/3 IP.
Julian Garcia relieved Mitchell, he hit the first batter he faced but struck out the second one to end the inning. FB was at 92 but he used his big breaking curve for the punch out.
Michael Ynoa ( FB 93-95 ) struck out one batter in a scoreless eighth inning. He yielded a single.
Ramon Rosso ( FB 93-95 ) finished with a scoreless ninth. He yielded one hit, a double.

Home Runs : Bryce Harper, Didi Gregorius
Defensive Gems :
Didi Gregorius picked a low throw to second base from catcher Andrew Knapp in the fourth inning for the second out of the frame.
Shortstop Luis Garcia showed off his hands on a slow high hopper that he snagged and threw in one motion for the final out of the game.
Didi and Jean Segura have a lot of fun together in the field, they are constantly talking and teasing one another ... pretty cool.
Phil-Ins :
Mini Camp players on the roster today included pitchers David Paulino, Tyler Carr and Julian Garcia, Catchers Edgar Cabral and Logan O’Hoppe, Infielders Luis Garcia, Darick Hall, Luke Williams and Bryson Stott and Outfielders Matt Vierling and Johan Rojas.
Johan Rojas smoked a line drive to right field in the seventh inning that was caught by an outstanding catch. Good to see the young man hit it hard, was against a veteran pitcher also, Ian Krol.
Grapefruit League record is now 6-6-1
