If coming to the complex to see spring training activity at the complex tomorrow ( 3/14/23 ) here’s what to expect :
Major League Camp :
There is a 1 PM home game against the Braves - Phillies players not participating in the game will take batting practice on Ashburn Field between 10 and 11 AM - parking lots will charge a fee for parking. Stadium gates open at 11 AM.
Minor League Camp :
The complex gates to watch practice are generally open to view all fields from the bleacher areas however if the gate to an area is closed please ask a security official before proceeding beyond the closed gate. Under no circumstances can you proceed past a gate that is marked with a sign stating authorized Phillies personnel only.
Players are divided into separate workout groups - select groups will rotate thru scheduled on field baseball practice as follows :
10 to 12 - Side bullpen sessions on the seven mounds & pitching lab ( 25 pitchers )
10 to 12:30 - Defensive drills on Roberts, Carlton & Schmidt fields
10:45 to 1:15 - Batting Practice on Roberts, Ashburn, Carlton & Schmidt fields
12:20 to 12:40 - Live bullpen sessions on Ashburn & Roberts fields ( 4 pitchers )
