Minor League Games :

Carpenter Complex :

The Phillies have acquired LHP Nick Allgeyer from the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for cash considerations. Allgeyer was the 2022 opening day starter for the AAA level Buffalo Bisons and was drafted by the Blue Jays in the 12th round of the 2018 draft from the University of Iowa. He’s now 27 years old and has posted a cumulative record of 21-19 in 95 minor league games (335 IP).  He’s made 60 starts and likely will slot into AAA Lehigh Valley’s rotation at the beginning of the season.  He features a mid-90’s fastball and a changeup that keeps hitters off-balance, also has a slider in his arsenal and has good control of his pitches. He made his Phillies debut today in the AA game on Roberts Field.

Double A Game: Roberts Field : Phillies 7 Yankees 1
