How they scored :
A single, stolen base and single scored a run for Rochester in the second inning. They scored five runs in the third on three walks, a wild pitch, two singles and a double.
Paul McIntosh homered in the bottom of the third inning.
Felix Reyes singled in the seventh inning, three consecutive walks scored him. Walks to Sergio Alcantara and Steward Berroa scored two more runs.

Pitching Powers - coming into today’s game the Fightin Phils pitching staff has been excellent to begin the 2026 season. Through eight games, Reading’s 3.47 ERA (27 ER, 70.0 IP) ranked as the best in the Eastern League. This came after the R-Phils pitching staff finished last in the league in ERA in both 2025 and ‘24, and also was 11th in 2023. Nick Biddison, Joel Dragoo and Jose Colmenares singled in the 8th inning. John Spikerman singled on a dribbler near the mound - the pitcher threw the ball past first base attempting to get him out, three runs scored and Spikerman circled however was thrown out at the plate 😳.
